Garden Club of America Visits the Ohio Governor’s Residence & Heritage Garden

The Friends of the Ohio Governor’s Residence and Heritage Garden hosted nearly 600 members of the The Garden Club of America for a tour of the property and outdoor gardens.

The Garden Club of America’s 2023 Annual Meeting was held in Columbus, Ohio, and included tours of three local gardens, including the Heritage Garden.

Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine, joined by the Governor’s Gardeners, welcomed the members and shared information about the property. Tours began in the front yard of the Ohio Governor’s Residence, where members of The Garden Club of America learned about the Governor’s Grove and the many trees planted on the property. Members then walked through the Ohio Governor’s Residence, and explored the remainder of the property’s garden.
